Thursday, March 21st, 2024, at 11:30 am at the Sailfish Club in Palm Beach.
The 3rd annual luncheon will feature an elaborate meal, followed by an exceptional performance by visually impaired piano virtuoso, David Crohan. One of the most versatile pianists performing today, Crohan crosses the traditional boundaries between classical and jazz music. His musical talent began at age three when he learned to play popular tunes he heard. Blind from birth, he received his early education at the Perkins School for the Blind in Boston where his study of classical music was encouraged. He has entertained audiences throughout the US for over 40 years and currently plays at Cafe L‘Europe in Palm Beach.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches programs and services. Lighthouse's mission is to assist persons with visual impairments to develop their capabilities to the fullest and utilize them in life's pursuits, which are the rights and privileges of all.
