In honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day, join the Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches, Treasure Coast & Okeechobee for a virtual Lunch & Learn on May 20th at 12:00 PM focused on the real-world impact of accessibility across business, workforce, and community.

Presented in partnership with Innovation Unbiased, this session goes beyond compliance to provide a practical approach for leaders looking to prioritize inclusion and drive meaningful results. Learn how ADA updates impact your organization, explore tools that support high-performing professionals with disabilities, and understand why accessibility leads to better outcomes for everyone.

You’ll also gain insight into building accessibility as an ongoing priority, leveraging user-led accommodations, and strengthening your organization through community partnerships. Join us on Zoom for a live session with actionable takeaways you can put into practice right away.

Lunch & Learn Series

Join the Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches, Treasure Coast & Okeechobee for a three-part Summer Lunch & Learn Series focused on maintaining and protecting your vision at every stage of life. Hosted at Mittleman Eye, each session will offer practical guidance, expert insight, and helpful strategies you can apply to your daily routine.

Each event will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and includes time for learning, discussion, and connection.

• June 3: Eat Your Way to Better Eye Health
• July 1: Lifestyle Habits That Protect Your Vision
• August 5: When Vision Changes – What Are Your Options?

Location Details:
All sessions will be held on the 5th floor of Mittleman Eye. Guests should check in on the 1st floor upon arrival before heading upstairs.

Join us for a special Floral Arranging Workshop on Tuesday, September 1st from 6:00–7:30 PM

This intimate, hands-on experience is limited to just 30 participants, offering a unique opportunity to connect, create, and give back. Tickets are $99 per person, with a portion of the proceeds directly supporting the Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches, Treasure Coast & Okeechobee.
