The assistive technology training team provides demonstrations, assessments and evaluations, presentations, and training on a variety of assistive technology devices designed for people with visual impairments. The primary function of this program is to provide technology instruction for people with visual impairments to empower them to use mainstream and specialized devices to meet their independent living, vocational, and avocational goals.

We teach a variety of solutions in each of the following categories:

The assistive technology training curriculum includes training with needed assistive technology software for word processing, email, the Internet, file management and training for a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Android, and iOS. Training is customized as needed for each individual.
